It’s taken even more of my blood.However, that’s not the end of the story. God has been and still is so good. My healer, my Savior, the steady Rock on which I stand; He is always near. He is trustworthy and faithful. I will praise Him in the days that are easy, but even more so in the days that are hard.

Three years ago, just after Andrew’s 8th birthday, he was diagnosed with an ependymoma. The tumor was completely removed at Children’s Hospital and he received 30 radiation treatments at UAB. Three years later, Andrew has had clear scans and is a happy, health 6th grader, playing soccer and hanging out with family and friends.

was created in honor of Debbie Civils’in my grandson, Walker Berry’s honor. He is 7 and was diagnosed with medullablastoma on July 28, 2019. He is currently undergoing treatment at Texas Children’s Hospital and M.D. Anderson.
